My sister once had a ‘Raspberry cocktail’ in school. Turns out it actually was a ‘Raspberry lemonade’ (I mean school = no alcohol). She really wanted to recreate this drink so I decided to help her and it was so much fun.
You will need:
- 250 grams raspberries
- 125 grams sugar (white)
- 2 limes
- ice cubes
- sparkly water
Start by squeezing the juice of one lime into a glas. Then add water until you have 125 ml of liquid. Add your raspberries (save some for decoration) and your sugar together with your lime-mixture into a pan. Cook the mixture for 3 to 5 minutes. After that put it into a sieve and save the raspberry-lime-liquid. Let it cool down.
Now take the glas of your choice (we went for a mason jar) and add a few pieces of lime into it. Then add some ice cubes, and as much from your raspberry-lime-water as you want. After that top it with sparkly water and add raspberries and lime for decoration. (You can also add frozen raspberries instead of ice cubes)
Then enjoy and take loads of cute pictures ;).
I really wanted to blog about this so her friend had to wait until she could drink her drink because I had to take a photo of it. (I clearly wanted to go full out with tons of decorations, flat-lays, but that’s all I got ;)).
