A chocolatey Valentine’s day collab |Glücksgeist

baking, Collaborations, Random

Angela from LifeofAngela asked me on Instagram if I wanted to join her Valentine’s day baking and of course I had to say yes. Personally I don’t celebrate Valentine’s day, but who doesn’t love to eat some baked goods especially if it’s chocolate.

We both have Rosanna Pansino’s cookbook so we really wanted to use a recipe from it. Angela went for the chocolate cupcakes and I had to follow because chocolate is my favourite. I am really excited to see what Angela made out of this recipe.

I thought a little bit on how I should decorate my muffins, but my family and I actually aren’t the biggest fan of icing believe it or not. Mainly because my icing never turns out that good so I thought as I am baking for the day of love I actually treat my family, so I didn’t go for icing in the end. Instead I used these super cute muffin cases. My sister got them for me a few days ago, she’s just so cute.

The are in this lovely pink with hearts on them, so perfect for Valentine’s day. They also turn a boring brown muffin into a little piece of art, so I was really happy with them.

My family absolutely loved these and they were gone in a day. I think there’s no better present than something baked because it shows the effort you put into it.

Don’t forget to check out Angela’s cupcakes! Thank you so much Angela for doing this with me, I had so much fun!

Love, x

  1. Yours look so gooood! I love that you added some chocolate chips too 😀 It’s cool that you left out icing since your family isn’t too fond of it. Also, that recipe is so good! It was so light, and we also ate it all in like one day! Good old Ro always comes through with great recipes 😀
