Books I read in 2018 |Glücksgeist

life, Random

I started a reading list this year and enjoyed it so much. I love to read and I do like to read new and old books a lot. I thought that a reading list would be so fun because I then could look back at the start of the year or at a specific month and see what I read and liked. I thought I would be a little bit more adventurous with my book-selections but you will see. Let me know what you think of this post in the comments below.

I wrote down the name of each book, the date I started reading it and when I finished it. It’s so cool to see how long you needed for a certain book.

  1. Schlaft gut ihr fiesen Gedanken (Turtles all the way down) – John Green
    26.12.2017 – 01.01.2018
It really took me a while to get into this book. I love John Green’s books a lot so I kept reading, but if I hadn’t read other books from him I would probably have stopped at some point. But after half of the book I started really enjoying it and the end was really emotional and I really recommend reading it. 3,5/5.
  2. Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone – Hufflepuff edition
    08.01.2018 – 10.01.2018
As soon as I discovered my real Harry Potter house and saw these special edition books I needed one in my life and omg, I am so happy I bought it. This book not only has the first story inside it but a Harry Potter quiz and loads of Infos to your house. Loved it so much and it was my first time reading Harry Potter in English.
  3. Harry Potter and the half-blood prince
    11.01.2018 – 18.01.2018
    Read it in English
  4. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
    18.01.2018 – 25.01.2018
    Read it in English
  5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
    05.02.2018 – 20.02.2018
  6. Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire
    20.02.2018 – 04.03.2018
  7. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
    04.03.2018 – 06.03.2018
I always said that this is my favourite book and after reading it again I know why. This and the half-blood prince really are my favourites.
  8. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
    06.03.2018 – 10.03.2018
I forgot how much I love this book. I only read it a couple of times but it’s amazing and I have to read it again asap.
  9. Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone
    10.03.2018 – 13.03.2018

…. Well I have a little Harry Potter crazy phase at the moment so I only read Harry, but I am trying to change it up at some point. I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what you think of it in the comments below.

Love, x

  1. Your review of John Green’s latest book is so interesting. I only ever hear praise about it, so it’s nice to hear your take on it. It’s been on my TBR list forever, and I do hope to eventually get around to it. You can never go wrong with a bit of Harry Potter 😀

  2. There’s no better way to be crazy then Harry Potter crazy! ✨ I haven’t read Turtles all the way down but I had a professor at uni who was obsessed with that expression. It’s stuck with me ever since 😂📚Happy weekend (and happy Friday, obviously)! xx

  3. I’m actually not a huge John Green fan, I know that’s crazy, but I really wanted to read this one. Mostly because I’m obsessed with turtles and the title intrigues me, even though I know it’s not really about turtles. 😂

  4. I am little ashamed to say this but I haven’t read all the harry potter books (I have read first two). I really need to do it I know but I never find the time to actually start one 😫 I absolutely love John Greens books but Turtles All the Way Down just didnt sound interesting to me so I haven’t read it yet! My favorite book is I’ll give you the sun, have you read it? 💛 xx
