Sephora lip mask review |Glücksgeist

I’ve tried a lot of masks. Masks for my face, hair and even feet, but I’ve never tried a lip mask before. I used lip scrubs before which I like but the idea of a mask for your lips was new to me. A few months ago my mum got me this package of three masks from sephora. I reviewed to of them already so if you want you can check out that post here.

First of all let’s talk about the packaging. I really like the sort of nude colours of this packaging, it looks really nice and the mask inside is protected by two clear plastic strips so all is good. To apply the mask you peel one of the plastic strips of, press the mask onto your lips and then remove the second strip. The mask itself is super thin and feels nice and light on your lips. This mask is designed for your lips, but it is really big which I don’t mind just to let you know this will fit anybody.

You’re supposed to leave this mask on for 15 minutes. You know me and I never keep and eye on the clock, I like to mostly keep them on for longer until they are really dry, but that’s just my personal preference. This time though I left it on for about 15 minutes. My lips felt a little sticky first but then I worked the remaining product into my lips and they were fine. They felt soft and nice but I am still not sure what to think of this product.

I think I would rate this a 3 out of 5. I didn’t hate it but I also didn’t love it.

Do you like lip masks? Let me know in the comments below.

Love, x

  1. I love Sephora’s masks, but I feel the same way that you do, I don’t know how I feel about lip masks. I have used a scrub before and it was kind of meh. It is funny, because I LOVE lipstick, and lipgloss, but there is something about the scrubs and masks, I am not a huge fan of. ❤
