A week in my life – thrift adventures | Glücksgeist

I recently did a collab with Justhannahere. We both shared a week in photos and so many of you enjoyed reading this post so I really wanted to do a second part and maybe turn this into a little series.

Monday

On Monday I have Uni from 9 am until 7 pm so it’s a long and normally boring day, but this time it was super fun and exciting. First of all I didn’t went to Uni at 9, I skipped maths so I had Uni from around 12 which was good. I had a slow but productive morning. In my three hour break I went to the mall to buy some cards to send to some of my blogger friends. Whilst I was there I picked up a new book called Midnight sun and buy the time I write this I already finished it (such an emotional book). I also had a little browse at Brandy Melville and Urban Outfitters. I then decided to take a girl from Uni to my new favourite thrift store. We both tried on a dress, I tried on this red dress but sadly it was way too big for me.
I also got some new socks from my mum which made the day even more exciting and for a Monday it was a really good day.

Tuesday

Tuesday really felt like a Monday… I had Uni at 8 am and I was really really tired. After I survived the 5 hours I had a little meltdown at home because life was too much for me for a few minutes. My sister gave me a much needed hug though and I watched Spiderman homecoming which always makes me happy. I had to go to the dentist that day which I didn’t look forward to. It was my first time going on my own which may sound crazy as I am 20 years old but I never really liked going there. Before the dentist I bought myself some new face masks as a little treat and after the dentist (when I survived it) I bought myself another treat. On Monday I spotted this amazing shirt at Brandy and on Tuesday I decided to try it on and get it. I normally never go shopping on my own but I felt really amazing and loved having some time for myself, really enjoyed it a lot. And I finally got myself a San Francisco shirt which I wanted to have for ages.

I also got the results of my second maths test and I passed which made me happy. After going food shopping I ended the day with watching some carpool karaoke with my brother. It’s so weird that a bad day can turn out into a really nice one.

Wednesday

I only had Uni at 2 pm so I had a super slow morning. I wrote the cards to my blogger friends, showered (I forgot the time so things had to go quick) and wore some of my favourite orange pants with my saturday t-shirt and my mum’s white shoes. I really loved that outfit a lot. Uni wasn’t too amazing but okay so I went home and found the cutest letter from my sister. She wrote I love you and a few other things in Swedish on a paper and gave it to me. She really is the best sister ever and it made me smile so so much. In the evening I read a lot of my new book and had a really nice time, I also saw my mum which is always amazing.

Thursday

This day wasn’t as exciting as the other ones. I had Uni, went home, had some pasta, went back to Uni, went home, watched some youtube and went to bed. Not every day is super crazy but I still had a good day.

Friday

I had a three-hour-long physics lecture on Friday. It was pretty funny though and I spent the second part of the lecture online shopping (without buying something though). Then I went home and had a really nice cosy afternoon on the couch watching TV with my mum. AND I got my new BACKPACK!! I was so excited to finally have it and I wanted one for so so so so long. It’s such an amazing backpack and I can’t describe how happy I am with it. I also made myself some homemade fries and finished my new book which was so emotional.

  4. You have University for such a long time! I used to complain about having to go to University from 9-5 when some of my friends were in for 4 hours a week but this really puts me to shame!!! What did you think of Midnight Sun? I keep meaning to see the movie xx

    • Monday is really long!! I really loved the first half of the book and really liked the second half. I think you get how the book is ending pretty soon as you read it but I still really liked it. Really wanted to see the movie too but now I don’t feel like I have to anymore xx
