I wrote this in July and never got around to post it, hope you like it xxx
First of all I am back. It feels like I haven’t been around on here for so long and it was ‘only’ a week. I think you can tell that I love blogging by missing it so much. I thought that I don’t have the time for it because of all of my exams and I do have to study a lot but I mean who studies 24/7 and doesn’t have time for a little blogging break?
So today I am doing a food shop HAUL. I think I talked with Phoebe about this before and really wanted to do one. But then I just forgot about it and never seemed to have the ‘right’ food to show to you. On Saturday my favourite YouTube called MsRosieBea uploaded (yes) a food shop haul and I was inspired. Not only to do a blog post but also to try new things because I always eat the same food (pasta). I actually think that I found some cool things so I am excited to talk about them now.
I do have a few more vegetables and fruit stuff but this was all the stuff I picked.
Pizza: Believe it or not but I haven’t had a pizza like this for like two years or something like this. The reason for that is that I don’t do cheese so good so I was never able to eat these pizzas without feeling sick afterwards. BUT during my search for new things I could try I found these pizza for lactose-intolerant people and I was SO excited, like you have no idea. On Monday my mum and I went food shopping together to a big supermarket (because my little one 100% doesn’t stock these) and when we found them I was so happy. I had the salami one the same day and shared it with my mum and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had.
I wish I could eat them every single day but I mean they aren’t the most healthy things out there and sadly quite expensive (4 euros), so these are definitely treats.
Chinese: I found this pre-made Chinese food box and really liked the look of it. You put it in the microwave for 4 minutes and finished is your meal. I tried it today and I personally didn’t love it that much but I still liked that I tried it. Probably won’t get it again though.
Vegan cheese: As I said I don’t do cheese that good so I’m always on the hunt for alternatives because I can’t live without it, it tastes too good. I found this vegan cheese which is made from almonds so I am really excited to try it. Again this cost 3 euros so not the cheapest thing but if it tastes good I am going to be so happy about it.
Pizza dough and sauce: I love to make myself some pizza but the pre-made kit I used to get is just too big for one person and although I love pizza I don’t fancy eating it for days. I usually crave it for a day and then I need a little pizza break. Because of that I wanted to try this pre-made though and only use half of it and then the other half a few days later. I am actually really excited to try it because making pizza is so much fun and one of my favourite things to do.
Lemon tea: I know it’s summer but I was sick last week and since that I’ve been drinking a lot of tea and I love it. I wanted to try this lemon one and I am a little bit disappointed with it. I mean it’s not the worst tea in history but just super sweet. It tastes like the old fashioned ‘Nimm 2’ bonbons for all the German people who read this. Probably won’t get this one again but if I ever fancy something sweet I can go for this one instead.
Gnocchi: My mum ate these before and I just really loved the look of them so I wanted to try them. I haven’t tried them yet but I’m planning on trying them tomorrow and I really look forward to that.
Nectarine: This isn’t something new but I am getting obsessed with nectarines again. They taste just so good and I really enjoy eating them at the moment.
Pasta: A food shop without getting pasta is nearly impossible. I eat pasta so so much and I really love it so I had to get some. My mum actually asked if I wanted to get these and of course I had to say yes as this pasta kind is my favourite one.
I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. I hope you have a great week and aren’t too hungry from this now.
