I have never watched a show like this before!

A few years ago I watched Bear Grylls tv shows in which he showed how to survive in different countries. So he wasn’t unfamilar to me when this show popped up on Netflix.

So what is this Netflix show about?

Basically it is like all the shows he did before – he has to survive. But this time he is on different missions. He has to find people, dogs or get medicine to a village in the desert sun. You follow him doing these missions which are 15 to 25 minutes long, so a good short length to binge-watch.

But what makes this Netflix show interactive?

Although he is on that mission in the jungel, snow or desert, you are making the decisions. About 4 times each episode you have to choose between two options. Should he follow the river or go trhough the djungel? You decide.

If you take the wrong way he sometimes has to go back or the worst he has to ask his team for help. In that case you haven’t accomplished the mission and have to try again. BUT what I like is that you don’t have to start from the beginning and that there aren’t any repetitions which make it boring or anything.

How would I rate this Netflix show?

I think I would give this ☆☆☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆ stars. It is a super fun show to watch and to also be a part of. I have never seen a show like this before and really enjoyed trying to get to the end of each mission. I would highly recommend checking this show out – it is so much fun!

  1. I believe they have done a Black Mirror episode to this where your choices change the way the episode goes! I think it is such a good way to keep watchers captured, especially for longer episodes. xx
