My first adventure took place on the 29th of July and so far was one of my favourite ones. I decided to go on a little day trip to a place I have never been before but always wanted to go to. It took me a bit more than an hour to go there but it definitely was worth it.

Choosing the right time to go there

I decided to head there on a Monday because the building is closed on Mondays and I thought that it would be less crowded which I think was the right decision. There weren’t many people but a few ones that kept walking where I was so taking the photos was at first a bit embarrassing, but I got over it very quickly.
I also went there in the morning/lunch time because I thought that at that time not many people would go on walks.

What I took with me

I obviously had to take my camera with me to take a million photos which was so so so much fun! And I couldn’t be more happy with the photos. BUT I think the most important thing I had with me that day was water. It is very hot at the moment so stay hydrated especially on photo walks. I also took a book with me so I could take photos in the nature of it and I had some soap bubbles with me which I was too embarrassed to use. I would recommend taking props with you to keep it fun, but also don’t stress over things like that because some places don’t need any help to look gorgeous.

My outfit

I decided to go for a very colourful outfit and wore my striped pants for the first time out. They looked so nice in the photos and also were perfect for the hot day. I would recommend going for a piece that stands a little bit out because it’s just way more fun in your photos.

Be respectful

Obviously try to be respectful to the places you visit. I mean especially with buildings with a lot of history or places like that. Maybe google them before to see what sort of place it is and if it’s really appropriate to take photos there.

That was my first summer adventure I am going to talk about today. I am excited to share the second one with you very soon.

  1. I love summer adventures! It is so refreshing to be able to explore new, beautiful places and admire the architecture! Sounds like you had a lovely day. Also hope you meant July and not August at the start otherwise we have a time-traveller on our hands!!! xx

  2. LOVE these pics! They came out SO well! Photo/travel adventures are my fav! I can definitely understand the embarrassment, especially with props. I think that is why mine is always a coffee cup. When all else fails gaze adoringly at the java! :p Loved reading this beauty! Thanks for sharing! ❤
