My Yellow “Zine” |Glücksgeist

I wrote a few letters to some of my blogger friends recently. I wanted to create the most amazing letters and after I watched too many YouTube videos I decided to create a “Zine” and add it to each of them.

I called mine “The little book of positivity” and I think that name describes a Zine pretty good. A Zine is basically a little notebook which you can fill with whatever you want. You can write quotes in it or just add pictures.

Dreaming out loud |Glücksgeist

I recently shared a post about my favourite youtubers with you. One of them is the amazing Hailey from Bryce + Hailey. I love their channel so so much and Hailey has the best style and both of them share the most amazing personalites. Hailey’s Instagram account is called ‘Dreaming out loud‘ and I love this name so much.

I am a total dreamer and I think dreams are the most amazing thing and it’s so important to have them. When I see Hailey’s photos I always feel like she’s sharing such a bright and positive photo with us, literally a dream. In her videos she’s always so happy and I always feel so happy when I watch them.

Decorating my room |Glücksgeist

When I was younger I always had to change my room every couple of months. I always got super bored with it and wanted a change and something different. I always loved the process of rearranging my room, I mean, it’s such an exciting thing to do.

Now that I am older I am quiet happy with how my room looks at the moment. I haven’t really changed something except for pictures in months, maybe also years. My mum moved recently and now my sister and I have a completely new room together so now I really fell back in love with room-decorating.

My mum ordered this shower curtain a few weeks ago. I immediately loved the design and it turned out that the shower curtain was fabric not plastic or anything that wouldn’t get soaked with every shower. I said to my mum that she can still keep it and hang it onto the wall and she asked me if I want to have it in my room, of course I said yes! It’s the most epic thing I’ve ever had on my walls and I am super happy with it. Plus it’s an amazing background for photos.

I am so so in love with it and it adds something so nice to my room. I love all the colours and it makes me super happy just looking at it.

What do you think of my new room accessory? Let me know in the comments below.

Vegan Carrot cake | Glücksgeist

I love to bake. To me it’s one of the best things you can do. I also love to try out new recipes and I don’t know why but I’ve been on a little vegan baking trip lately. I love to share new recipes with you, so let’s start with the carrot cake.

Processed with VSCO with preset

You will need:

  • 200 grams of flour
  • 180 grams of brown sugar
  • 8 grams vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (if you don’t like cinnamon leave it out)
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 75 grams shredded carrots
  • 200 grams plant based yoghurt (I cheated and used regular yoghurt)
  • 100 ml coconut oil

Add all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix until well combined. Then add all your wet ingredients to a second bowl and mix until well combined. Add the wet mixture into the dry and mix until well combined.

Bake the cake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. You can add shredded carrots on top of the cake if you want, or any decorations of your choice. I went for powdered sugar.
