My first bullet journal – Part 2

I started my first bullet journal last month. I love journaling and so many of you loved my post where I shared a few pages from my bullet journal. Because of that I thought it was time to share a few more with you.

I love lists and I know that most people use their bullet journals for these, but I am sharing more of my drawings with you today. I hope that’s fine and I hope you enjoy this post.

My Cacti and Groot obsession

I love Cacti as most of you know. I had a little cacti series on my blog and I still love them so much. Of course I had to create a little Cacti page in my journal.

I finally watched Guardians of the Galaxy and now I get it. This movie is insane! I love all the characters so much and I completely fell in love with Groot, especially Baby Groot is just too cute!

Peter Pan and cotton candy dreams

When I was younger I was obsessed with the movie Peter Pan. I watched it so so often and I dreamed of flying out of my room and going on little adventures. It’s just such a great movie and I really want to watch it now.

I love cotton candy, I mean who doesn’t?! But the last time I ate it was ages ago. I used to make it myself with our cotton candy machine and had a little moment when I realised that cotton candy is just raw sugar…. what was I thinking? But I am really craving it at the moment, so maybe I’ll have to get our cotton candy machine out of the cupboards.

Sunshine-flowers and my Fall bucket list

As you know I love my sunflowers and I am missing the sun like crazy at the moment. Today has been such a rainy cloudy day and I want my sunshine back please.

Fall screams for a fall bucket list and this one is mine (click the picture to read it). I really want to make smores this year because I’ve never done or eaten them in my life, can you believe that? But I am just so excited for fall walks, fall decorations and Halloween.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know which page you like the best in the comments below.

🌻 Sunflower cake 🌻

I am currently so obsessed with sunflowers! I think sunflowers are such happy-making flowers. I look at them and immediately feel so much better.

🌻 Sunflower obsession/- tag 🌻

Because of my little-big obsession, I decided to bake a sunflower cake. Because the middle of the flower is so dark I went for a chocolate cake. I used the recipe of Tanya Burr’s Sunday cake from Love Tanya.

I had so much fun making this cake. I love to be creative and to bake so this was such a fun little project for me.

I am not the best at decorating cakes but I am really happy with it. I think you can see that I tried to draw a sunflower on top.

For the blossom of the flower I used yellow buttercream and for the middle I used chocolate buttercream. On the outside I piped little dots.

I love chocolate cake and I really like this recipe so I am quiet happy with it. But let me know what you think of this cake in the comments below.

Raspberry lemonade – self-made

My sister once had a ‘Raspberry cocktail’ in school. Turns out it actually was a ‘Raspberry lemonade’ (I mean school = no alcohol). She really wanted to recreate this drink so I decided to help her and it was so much fun.

You will need:

  • 250 grams raspberries
  • 125 grams sugar (white)
  • 2 limes
  • ice cubes
  • sparkly water

Start by squeezing the juice of one lime into a glas. Then add water until you have 125 ml of liquid. Add your raspberries (save some for decoration) and your sugar together with your lime-mixture into a pan. Cook the mixture for 3 to 5 minutes. After that put it into a sieve and save the raspberry-lime-liquid. Let it cool down.

Now take the glas of your choice (we went for a mason jar) and add a few pieces of lime into it. Then add some ice cubes, and as much from your raspberry-lime-water as you want. After that top it with sparkly water and add raspberries and lime for decoration. (You can also add frozen raspberries instead of ice cubes)

Then enjoy and take loads of cute pictures ;).

I really wanted to blog about this so her friend had to wait until she could drink her drink because I had to take a photo of it. (I clearly wanted to go full out with tons of decorations, flat-lays, but that’s all I got ;)).

Do you like raspberry lemonade? What’s your favourite lemonade? Let me know in the comments below.

How to spice up your summer drinks – Part 2

This is blog post number 300!!!

There’s nothing better than a nice refreshing drink in summer. But what’s even better is when the drink also looks good. I love to spice up my drinks and turn them into something cute. I already uploaded a decoration idea on my blog.

How to spice up your summer drinks

Today I am sharing a very handy decoration trick with you. This one doesn’t just look cute but also protects your drink.

The only thing you need for this is a straw and a muffin case. You take your straw and poke it through your muffin case. Then you add your straw to your drink and no fly will find the way into your drink.

I think this looks so cute and comes in very handy when many people are around because they can write their names on to the cases.

What do you think of this decoration idea?

Let me know in the comments.

Have a lovely day!
